When you want to do some boolean operations in Modo it forces you to put your geometry in another Mesh layer, which is quite annoying. This script do just that and use native Modo’s boolean functional.
- Put it in your scripts folder and unzip.
- Be sure your mesh is closed. Modo’s booleans works only in this way, otherwise warning appear.
- Select some geometry and run script with one of the arguments: union, intersect, add, subtract
ex: @_your_scripts_path_\QuickBool.py subtract
I also use it along with the hotkey.
